Mill House Psychotherapy is a small practice based in southeastern Pennsylvania that offers individual counseling to adults, adolescents, and children suffering from a variety of issues. The practice was founded on the simple assumption that professional counseling—counseling that is dynamic, collaborative, and insightful—should be available to all people without limitations.
With roots in clinical social work, we believe in individual difference—that all people are unique. So, what works for one person may not work for another, and vice versa. As such, we don’t proceed rigidly with a set approach based on a category of problems or diagnosis(es); rather, we relate to clients individually and holistically. And in so doing, our focus is distinct and can be distilled at a high level into just two broad outcomes—taking away painful and distressing feelings and creating a gratifying, well-lived life.
